Absolutely disgraceful racism from @jkyleofficial on @TalkTV. As the camera zooms in on me and @DrHWazir on the picket line, he sneers that “a lot of them have come into this country to be doctors.” He based this solely on the colour of my skin. I was born in the UK. I studied and trained in the UK and I currently work as a doctor in the NHS. My grandfather fought for this country in WW2. This is racist, demeaning, and utterly unacceptable.

While you may have been on an Easter egg hunt on Sunday, one of our crews were cracking open a garage wall in a search for trapped fox cubs on Letchworth Road. All 3 were recovered safely with one given oxygen therapy, and then left with the RSPCA for treatment. Fantastic result!

A popular family attraction has faced backlash after a video of cruelty to goats shows animals being dragged along and picked up by their horns.  Bournemouth Goats, which manages a clifftop herd of 50 animals in the Southborne area of the Dorset city, has come under fire over the shocking clip.  Footage shows a man hauling a pair of lame goats along a pavement, with one appearing to bleat in distress as it is grabbed from where it was lying down.  He pins the animal down with his knees as he adjusts his grip before picking it up by its collar and dragging it, while it makes a strangled, choking sound.  Unable to manage both, the man passes the goat to a colleague and picks up another by its horns, hauling it along the pavement into an enclosure. A member of the public took the video when Bournemouth Goats took some of their animals to a community event last December.

@KarlTurnerMP So the govt led by a Human Rights Lawyer is suspending the whip because of your opposition to changes to jury trials, ie our democracy? It would be ironic if it wasn’t so awful. I don’t remember this in the manifesto when we voted for this govt. What a disappointment Starmer is.

I am being told that I have had the whip suspended but I have not had any notification from the whips about this. It seems journalists have been told but I have not.
