Exclusives also SELL consoles for said live service money.
Hell, Ghost of Yotei outsold Call of Duty Black Ops 7 on PS5 in 2025 (US).

There is zero confirmation that Sony has pulled away from PC lol. They just published Death Stranding 2 on Steam this month. They also published Marathon. Don't care if it's multi. Marathon would be dead now if not for PC support. AMD just said they're doing stuff with PS on PC.

We talked about a lot of reasons why Sony pulled away from PC but one of those reasons never mentioned was a pending price hike. Kind of hard to ask $650 for a basic PS5 and $900 for a Ps5 Pro while your big tentpole titles go to PC. I think Sony saw the tea leaves.

@foxygames_uk Only a true pony clown would somehow try to bring Xbox to this action. PS dominates sales and somehow in 12 months the Pro increased 300 usd . Sure whatever you say and I suppose PC ports were an obstacle on buying a PlayStation, 900 usd plus 12 usd per month for multiplayer.

You're claiming on defending them All I'm doing is pointing out the obvious there has been 6 years since it's their PC strategy that was supposed to enrich the PlayStation brand and it did quite the opposite but everybody wants to point fingers at Sony like they did this all on their own

@SirDustyDirks Epic doesn’t do this because they are kind, they just want to downplay Steam in order to entice devs. Had they succeeded they would have raised their fees as well. Just like they did with Vbucks, EGS tried to buy their way in , Valve has earned our loyalty , so fuck off.
