@thetrainline At this step after a user has selected outbound and return options he/she is presented with some recommendations. Those recommendations need to be in accordance with the original selections. At least from Birmingham it makes a difference to have 1.30 hours of travel or 2.30

The app changes the details of the travel without asking for confirmation and once I realised it and request a refund I get charged. Seriously uncool @thetrainline for a tenner. Seriously uncool.

@thetrainline Well you can pass along to whomever that the UX is deceptive on the cheapest recommendation when a user has made a choice. That doesn't change the fact that you acquired a tenner with deceptive tactics. As I said in my original message that is uncool.

@akoutlas We don't have the facility for customers to choose a specific Train Operator on the search screen. All options will be presented for the customer to pick and choose from depending on their preference for timing, etc. -Jamie
