It is disappointing and disheartening that a constituted authority: the Governor of a state is calling on external bodies to investigate a matter that falls squarely within his own jurisdiction.
If he genuinely believes the kidnapping of the Orire victims was political, why not constitute an independent panel of inquiry and allow it to investigate the allegations transparently? He has the constitutional authority and the resources to do so.
Instead of taking concrete steps to establish the facts, he is more interested in chasing shadows and making political noise.

Someone already has the Jude Bellingham highlight reel up from the game? He hasn’t even left the pitch
(Also this is spectacular) x.com/26wc26/status/…

@LASportsRadio @stephenasmith He is not a scout. He is paid to give opinions....

Here is @stephenasmith in 2018 saying the Suns have to draft DeAndre Ayton over Luka Doncic and there’s no debate. 😂

Like all of us, I’m now fully obsessed with soccer. So, when the World Cup
Is over I want to have a premier league team to root for. @NashvilleSC has always had my @MLS heart. That one is easy.
Which Premier League team should I adopt?

@FortuneMan05 @RodinSimi Th a nk you. We'll said. They wanted Meghales as well
English

@RodinSimi Then we've proven that you don't need world class players to be champions. Secondly Saliba was linked to Real Madrid and thirdly. These clubs are not the yard stick for knowing world class players
English

Arsenal don't have world-class players because tell me why no Arsenal player has been wanted by Real Madrid CF, FC Barcelona, or FC Bayern Munich.
João Pedro was wanted by Barcelona, while Enzo Fernández and Marc Cucurella were linked with Real Madrid.
Erling Haaland, Joško Gvardiol, and Rodri have also been linked with Real Madrid. Bruno Fernandes was previously wanted by both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Ibrahima Konaté and Trent Alexander-Arnold were signed by Real Madrid from Liverpool.
This shows that Arsenal players are not rated at the same level by Europe’s biggest clubs. Nobody wants to sign players they see as just physical fighters rather than elite talents.

@appiecule Is it just me? But Messi seem to feature in all the Major commercials at the ongoing WC. I am yet to see CR7 in any of the commercials and yet he is regarded as the most MARKETABLE athlete in the World... Am I missing something?

Portugal are not favorites for the World Cup, not because they lack quality, names in certain positions, or because some stars underperform for the national team, as people will start claiming today to defend a certain player.
Portugal are not favorites because they will play the entire World Cup with one player who makes every opponent stronger than them. That player is Cristiano Ronaldo.
He doesn’t defend, doesn’t press, ruins attacks, and only cares about his own interests.
By what logic are Portugal’s players supposed to fight for him when he only plays for himself?
This moment explains everything. Portugal needed a goal, the ball was heading to Bruno Fernandes, who was about to shoot. Instead, Ronaldo decided to take the shot himself, hoping he might get lucky and score.
The smarter and more reliable option was to leave it for Bruno, and Portugal would have won today.
As long as Ronaldo is Portugal’s starting striker, there is nothing to fear from them.
