前のLENOVOのVEGAっていう内臓のビデオカードでXとかのムービーで急にブルースクリーンになったりしていたけど、いまのDellもintel内蔵でもそれっぽい挙動があって、Xでムービースクロールしてると動かなくなってウインドウ自体を持つと動くようになるけど、このタイミングでVEGAはブルーだったのかな

I am seeing this everywhere today, but not sure what problem, if any, this new technology is supposed to solve. The models they show, and the textures don't look anything like the original. It's like they take images and spin them so they look completely different. Is this supposed to be used if you have bad modelers or texture artists on the team? If you need to save disk space so you store low poly and low res textures on disk and this "extrapolates" them? Even if you had those problems, and you weren't opposed to using AI, why not just use AI to make a better model or texture in the first place? Why do you need some real time inference thing creating inconsistent graphics on top of the original intent? I have no idea what problem or use case this is supposed to solve for honestly.

스위치2 갖고 누워서 레트로게임을 하는것이 가능한가 실험을 해봤는데... 마찬가지로 무게가 무겁고 D Pad가 실질적으로는 없다고 봐도 되기 때문에 힘들다고 봐야겠지

@iconoclast575 I settled on using mpv... interface is bare bones but it has the smoothest playback of all the players I've tried...

it's 2026 and VLC still doesn't have this basic feature MPC had like 20 years ago without having to jump through an extra hoop or two.

so this whole time my rtx 5090 was crashing I thought it was a bad GPU, but it was this stupid windows feature called "multi-plane overlay" (which didn't cause issues on my 4090 or 3090)... crashes stopped after disabling it

@sekaipro_chris That's the thing though, from what I understand it's not a separate server, so newbs are just dumped in with existing users that have been playing for years... it's gonna take a while to catch up...

@alamone I don't think the whales are the target audience here. Yeah the release definitely had bumps in the road but I'm sure it will be a boon at the end of the day. For one thing, I know I'm not the target audience and I have a GREE account which is even less likely to ever be usable

@sekaipro_chris I mean, I don't argue that, what I mean is that paid currency is more expensive, you can't reload raids (so you'll guarantee lose to turbo-whales who can), you can't import your mobage account... it just seems like a rushed disaster

999 is one of my favorite DS games. Virtue's Last Reward isn't as good, but it's a fun sequel. the 3rd game... i'm baffled at it having a positive rating on Steam.
