Coming soon! Last week, I discovered alternative solder points on the PSX DVR mainboard for Power and Quit Game. With @chriz2600's help, both points are now controllable from the @PixelFXco Retro GEM. Here's the Quit Game feature sending me to 1) XMB and 2) PSXBBL via MCP2.

@PixelFXco do you have any ideas for how long you’re going to be selling this? I can’t afford one for a while but I also don’t want to miss out if it’s going to just be a limited time thing :(

Morph 2K Batch 1 is now full and is expected to ship ahead of schedule, approximately 6–8 weeks after pre-orders close. New orders will be placed in Batch 2 and ship on the original timeline.

@PixelFXco Is the Morph2K able to detect signal nature and apply proper profile automatically ?

The Morph 4K does everything the Morph 2K does and more, and has been receiving regular updates including a major update less than two weeks ago. What new features are you thinking of? They both utilize the same FX-Framework codebase, and will continue to receive updates for a long time. We still provide software support for the original PS1Digital, released in 2020.

@PixelFXco Will the Morph4K continue being the *premium* device and get all the new features coming to the Morph2K? I'm looking into both and a little concerned for continued support for the 4K...

The N64 RetroGEM is still the gold standard for Nintendo 64 video quality. But if you’d rather keep your console stock, N64 S-Video on the Morph 2K delivers an excellent image with nothing more than a cable.

One of my favorite features of the Morph 2K is its high performance analog input stage. It supports 720p and 1080p from consoles like the Xbox 360 (VGA) and PS3 (Component) with no chroma subsampling, preserving full color detail. Combined with digital audio support and 1440p output, it’s one of the best ways to enjoy these consoles without stepping up to a Morph 4K.

@MarvinSong3 Yes, and since 1440p is 2x 720p it will be a very sharp scale. 720p to 1440p for use on a 1440p monitor is one of the ideal use cases to get the most out of a Morph 2K.

@PixelFXco If I use VGA as the input source for the Morph, can it upscale the video resolution from 720p to 1440p?
