A 96-year-old woman had to take out an ad to find a doctor. If that doesn’t prove Canada’s healthcare system is broken, what will? Canadians need to wake up and stop living in a fairy tale of what Canada was. We have serious problems that demand action. It’s time to have difficult conversations like mature adults and face these challenges head-on. No one will rescue us from this decline—we must step up and be the leaders we need or demand that our leaders take responsibility and act, serving as true public servants dedicated to the public good, not their own selfish interests.
