@DanMyers It’s because the analytics don’t have a salary attached to it. We put more weight on Kaprizov because of the salary.

It also felt to me like both Folignos played impactful, good games. Was underwhelmed by Kaprizov. Again, just my own eye test. But the analytics tell a different story.

Entertaining game for sure but without Brodin and Ek arguably their two best defensive players the @mnwild are going to have to avoid track meets in this series. Heavy - zone to zone hockey is needed. This style of game will not work.

@Dust_Vikings The problem is the strategy of always wanting to be a fringe playoff team instead of knowing WHEN to rebuild even if it means being uncompetitive in the near term.

I, for one, think we have great owners. We always have a competitive roster, always flirting with the playoffs, etc. Also, the Grade A training facility and home stadium. Not many teams can say they have both or one or the other. Is there room for improvement? Of course. Is the lack of playoff success an issue? Yes. But this stems more than just the owners. I think Mark and Zygi are great.

It sounds like Minneapolis will host the 2028 NFL Draft. It's going to be intriguing to see how they plan to fit that many people outside US Bank Stadium and the surrounding area. I just can't figure out how they plan to fit something similar to this in that area.

There was never any vote or referendum to change our flag, they just said “hey we’re changing it”. Again, absolutely 0 vote.
