@degen_betting True. VGK’s regular season wasn’t characterized by outright winning games. The team was plagued with injuries which is no surprise as they’ve played more games than everybody except FLA. The season can be best described by Rocky Balboa as getting hit but keep moving forward.

The Vegas Golden Knights are having the craziest season I’ve ever seen an NHL team have. They lost more games than they won in the regular season. They fired their head coach with 2 weeks left. Their goalie missed the last season and a half. 1 win away from winning the West.

Jared Bednar said that even if all Nathan MacKinnon can do is play on the power play and in empty-net situations, he'd still take that over anybody else. Hard to imagine MacKinnon doesn't at least try to cut it out in Game 4.

@JhanHky I always believed in that battle between skills vs resilience in the NHL post season, resilience wins hands down. The kind of skills that gave you success in the regular season isn't the same as the one needed in the post season. Physical/mental toughness and discipline is key.

Vegas fans are the NHL version of trust fund kids. They were good right away so they’ll never fully understand the meaning of winning a Stanley Cup. Just like a kid that gets a Ferrari for his sweet 16.

@MattKopnak Let's see. In September 2017, we had our first pre-season home game on the 26th against LA. Lost that one. Then on the 28th against Colorado, lost that one too. Finally on Oct 1 2017 at home against San Jose, we lost 5-3. First 3 home games, all losses.

I do kind of dig the Vegas storyline. An organization that treats nobody well, wins at absolutely all costs and isn’t apologetic about it. They’re not a dirty team either, they’re just an evil one. If they win the Cup, hockey twitter is going to burn to the ground.
