And as @RickPerkinsCPC pointed out, there are two jet options that are readily available and can be purchased right now to replace the Tudors, Czech made Aero Vodochody L-39 Albatros and the British made BAE Hawk. Both as good or better than the Tudor's.

The Snowbirds are going to be grounded until at least 2030 while the Liberal government replaces their aging planes. CBC is claiming they will be replaced with jets. They won't. The Tudor's are being replaced with the Pilatus PC-21 Truboprop's. They are already on order.

Looks like I lost my bet on an M-346 Snowbirds future. Mixed feelings on this announcement. The Tutor jets needed to be replaced, but moving to a prop platform (even a great one) feels like a downgrade. The gap is also disappointing, but likely driven by safety concerns.
