Well this isn’t what we were expecting from our new sofa from #Loaf It arrived 2 weeks ago & had to be propped up by books as the leg didn’t fit . They sent another leg which arrived today, and we’ve had to lift the very heavy sofa to put it on ourselves. It doesn’t fit . We’ve been told they have a backlog due to so many complaints & someone will call within 3 days. Not sure how they’ll fix it with a phone call. Strange way to run a business!

We are so sad today to hear the news of the death of one of our own - the great John Peters, who has presented programmes on Boom since we began. John was 75. Our thoughts are with his family.

Yes I do have a motive for this, I know that the new station would be nothing like Boom Radio, anyhow you don’t have to listen do you and competition is a good thing. If you want to listen to Boom Radio, good for you but there is nothing wrong in giving everyone something completely new, a station like no other, you don’t have to listen as I said before but why would you want to stop us giving you this new exciting station when Commercial radio has so many.If we are aloud to give you the choice let the public decide. I was lucky enough to pioneer radio in the 60’s which brought about Commercial Radio and I am a great believer in competition.

@tonyblackburn @Ofcom Oh come on Tony the BBC left us Boomers out in the cold for years it’s only because they’ve now got serious competition from @BoomRadioUK that they want to start this new station. I think if Ofcom have any sense they will realise you have an ulterior motive.
