After reading the headline of the government of Canada and Telus are building an AI infrastructure in what appeared to be around the BC Place area it made me wonder if what I saw here today is actual construction of it already. Could be FIFA related too. Is this actually a good location for an AI data center?

Apparently, Vancouver Science World has started to make the dome into one giant 2026 FIFA World Cup Ball. Some aerial views of it that I captured of the current progress.

Captured some quick time-lapse of the BMO Vancouver marathon today at the start of the crowd build up and then off they went for the 42.2KM run.

Surprised to see the Vancouver police riding horses around the busy traffic areas and literally with the vehicles on the road eventually. Was no events or anything. Maybe it’s practicing security for the FIFA games or something.

Actually the first baby geese I have seen so far this year. Usually see a bunch of goslings together around this time. Soon I guess.

You can check my video on it too with multiple apps. youtu.be/Z6K9_Xld7c4 I am pretty sure if I was specifically doing a walking endurance test where I am not doing anything such as drone flying for the day or carrying extra load one can go way faster. Basic point, not impossible for someone to walk that much. Your free to try it too. Start at midnight, carry the camera gear in uneven trails, hills and see.

** PSA : If anyone has walked over 200km already they are 100% for sure doing it illegitimate. 200k is NO JOKE. The most I’ve ever walked in a GO FEST week (the whole week) is 161 kms where I play every day for 10-14 hours. * Screen shot below. The walking, the speed of walking and the continuousness of it during GO Fest is a wild commitment too. Anyone who has raided with me knows I raid at a fast pace for hours.

So my day-one S23 Ultra randomly froze mid-walk & entered a boot loop—total brick. Online, it's the known #S23Ultra #SamsungDefect (motherboard failures from updates?). Ruined my event recording that some of you are aware of, but my action camera caught the chaos: sudden death, endless reboots. Heading to @SamsungCanada store tomorrow for diagnosis—will they fix or charge $500+? Interested to see how @SamsungMobile responds. Documenting for all—first video proof? #BootLoop

Even with all the wildfire smoke today causing some people breathing issues, it was kind of baffling to walk by people who were still smoking cigarettes and coughing like crazy.

If it’s Shaw/Rogers be prepared to change providers and they often almost immediately offer better deals. Real example, them normally wanting $127 a month for their 1 Gbps Internet dropped to $50.40 a month all in with tax. Are usually resellers too that could offer better deals using the exact same network if other companies like TELUS aren’t available as an option. Can then use those saving in other ways such as streaming services specific to your needs. Then you repeat after your contract if needed.

Alright. After drilling down into my cable/internet bill, I think it's time to finally cut the cord. I'm paying 1000's of dollars a year and still find myself searching for something worth watching. Any advice from others who've ditched cable? What service are you using now?

Was expecting random monsters while walking and gaming but not this. The guy I was talking to after was saying sadly people with drug issues are more common around the Vancouver city area too.
