It isn't. It's always more annoying to use than the US system (or what they have in the rest of the world)
I'm not saying interac e-transfer is terrible or unusable but it is objectively less convenient than Venmo, especially if you don't already have this person in your contacts

I genuinely give so little of a fuck about anyone or anything relating to this, I've never really interacted with either of them, I was just calling out how gross the witch hunts are, some of the things I've read the last couple of days have made me so nihilistic about the state of this community, we're all just gonna tear ourselves apart in the end, we are doing a better job at it than anyone else. I try to be as uncontroversial as possible and almost always avoid drama but it's difficult not to speak up when it's all you're seeing on your timeline, that's how widespread the campaign against those two was, I actually don't understand how you don't see anything wrong with this level of mass harassment against two trans women
