@Christo25568024 @VictorTaelin @Konantt_ Dogs can understand how much force to apply if they are being playful. If another breed were being this aggressive, you would never call it playful regardless of outcome. It's obvious.

@VictorTaelin @Konantt_ The studies I've seen suggest that they aren't an outlier in terms of aggressiveness, maybe like one standard deviation at most. The problem is that when they are aggressive they cause much worse damage. Behavior that on another dog would be playful becomes dangerous.

Fractional Cursor acquisition. xAI taking the right steps
Jason Ginsberg@JasonBud

I’m proud to be joining SpaceX and xAI with @milichab It has become clear that software is changing fundamentally. More and more, people can shape the tools they use directly, and the ceiling of what can be built keeps rising. What makes xAI special is the scale of its ambition: to build from first principles all the way out to the stars. I’m especially grateful to work on products that expand human agency and freedom. That mission is deeply personal to me. My family came to the United States fleeing communism, and the belief that freedom should be part of the next generation of the internet has driven me every day since Andrew and I started Skiff. Now, we get to work on intelligence, understanding, and freedom on a universal scale.

@BES_5_FNR @geohotarchive Exactly. Super autistic take to hyperfocus on the payment medium. Not directionally correct unless the tech overlords take over the government. The gov can pay out UBI in whatever form they want.

@geohotarchive Directionally correct, but if we get UBI, it means the leftists have won, and they'll confiscate all the gold.

@LeeLeepenkman @geohotarchive @DaveShapi Exactly. UBI just means universal distribution of some amount of resources. Super autistic take to hyperfocus on the payment medium.

kind of what @DaveShapi said about needing a universal system of creating wealth basically through ownership of things (like robots) so individually through owning these productive things we can still be very valuable even when labour is completely outperformed by more affordable more dexterous and smart robots that could still see us through that. i dont think that would change your mind i think its more in support of what you are saying that free money creates the wrong incentives

@geohotarchive Retarded take. No one cares how UBI is paid out. Pay it out in gold then. Obviously favorable (eg, democratic) governance must hold to pay out UBI. Monopoly on violence allows arbitrary redistribution. Also, "no human right to food" lol. Are you trying to build Hell, or what?

@pimoxl @GergelyOrosz @karrisaarinen It’s not 2.5% though. Merchant pays around 2.5% fee but most consumers have reward credit card that returns them 1.5%-2% back so real spread is less than 1% and for consumers who care it’s negative as they maximize points/mikes.

Eh. I just don’t buy this because I actually understand specific examples all too well: 1. It paints a picture of DoorDash disrupted by vibe coded alternatives. Dude. DoorDash / Uber moat is NOT software!! It’s real-world physical logistics. AI cannot disrupt DD… 2. (cont’d)

JUNE 2028. The S&P is down 38% from its highs. Unemployment just printed 10.2%. Private credit is unraveling. Prime mortgages are cracking. AI didn’t disappoint. It exceeded every expectation. What happened? citriniresearch.com/p/2028gic

@teortaxesTex Not necessarily true, especially past the initial setup phase. Even if true, hard to believe they can extract such a high % that median quality of life decreases. At some point, the government steps in and redistributes.
