Pauline Hanson 🇦🇺
Pauline Hanson 🇦🇺@PaulineHansonOz·
He used his first speech to outline his plans to push for the end to net zero and to drastically cut migration. “We want to get the cost of living down and our first target is on this damn net zero program. It’s going to be pulled down, ripped down and kicked out. It’s not what Australia wants. “Australia should be for Australians,” he added. “We will not have housing supply, we will not get education right, we will not get health right until we address this,” he said. “We don’t want to be dependent on other countries for our energy. And we definitely don’t want to be dependent on other countries bringing their culture into ours. We need Australia for Australians.” One Nation leader Pauline Hanson had “a tear in her eye” after the victory and told the gathered crowd it was “a win for the rest of Australia”. “Millions are watching on their TVs now and I believe it’s giving them hope,” she said. “(We will) represent you, the people to get our country back.” She used her speech to announce her first task after her party’s historic victory will be to hold an agricultural Roundtable in the region and commit to releasing a gas plan next week. “What I want to do is put money back in our pockets from the gas industry - they are our resources and it’s been given away,” she said. “I want a system where we will own part of that equity share in the exploration of gas. I’m not just going allow them to take it.” Earlier, Hanson told Sky News: “A win for Farrer, but a bigger win for the nation. “Everyone kept saying, ‘you’re our last hope’, and that’s how people feel. “They’re so distracted from the major political parties, they’ve been left behind. “Don’t underestimate us.”

I’m going to agree with Pauline Hanson in a tiny way. I catch a lot of Ubers, largely because I can’t be bothered driving. As Hanson loves to point out, most of the drivers I meet are from the subcontinent. Fair observation. But here’s the bit she always fails to mention: the vast, vast majority of them are engaged in tertiary education. They’re not just driving to scrape by — they’re grinding through uni, building skills, and planning futures. When they graduate, they’ll step into professional careers as productive, well-paid, highly-taxed members of the community. They’re literally the definition of aspirational migrants who add net value. If the One Nation crowd stopped the endless whinging, got off social media, and tried to better themselves the way these Uber drivers are doing every single day, they’d probably discover they have far more in common with the very people Hanson is too thick to appreciate than they realise. Hard work, ambition, and self-improvement aren’t partisan issues — they’re just how you get ahead. Maybe try it sometime.

I love the President and I'm so grateful he's in the Oval Office. Of course, I'll continue to support him and the America First agenda. At the end of the day, I do nothing for the approval of man. Our purpose on this earth is to glorify Him in all we do. The truth social post missed the mark. It's now deleted. Amazing! We're imperfect people. I know I am. I don't get my feelings hurt easy and I know with the President it's really not personal. I want to spend eternity in a real place called Heaven. I'd love for Trump to be there too. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. I'll keep doing my part by speaking truth & doing my best to lead others to Christ. (and no, I won't be selling merch with his insults on them hahaha)

I feel a deep sadness. So many of us worked very hard to get Trump back in office. We believed he would put America First and no new wars would be started. What we have seen this term is the opposite of what we voted for, understand it is not MAGA that has changed, it is Trump. Trump was a vessel to achieve the goal, he has failed the mission and it is time he leave the office.

Christ that's tired, Rusty. How often is it not blowing off-shore? The whole POINT is that Oz is large enough to have enough renewables all over, and enough battery storage, that the grid is always supplied. Give it up, Digger, you've lost this one. Maybe go back to Vaxxes?
Rusty Nail@rustyynail888

@Peter_Fitz A single China off-shore wind turbines can also power 0 homes when the wind is not blowing. Even Trump can not make the wind blow 100% of the time.

Regime change is now more urgent than ever to end this Iran war. The world can no longer tolerate a tyrannical, fanatically theocratic, deceitful kleptocracy wreaking havoc on civilised nations. Trump and his war-mongering gang of liars and sycophants must go.

@SenatorWong @YvetteCooperMP @IMOHQ Reading this thread by Australia's top diplomat you'd think Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz for no reason, completely unprovoked, just to be mean. If you need to lie and obfuscate like this, you just might be on the wrong side of history.

Once upon a time, politicians made the rules. Then the bureaucrats took over. Now the real power sits with private capital. Surely you can see what’s happening? We need people in politics who come from outside the system, people beholden to no one but their nation and the voters who put them there. Canberra is out of control.

Western civilisation did not become weak by accident. It was softened. For generations our institutions have been deliberately feminised. Strength replaced with sensitivity. Merit replaced with inclusion. Truth replaced with feelings. Risk is discouraged. Competition is condemned. Achievement is treated with suspicion. The result? A civilisation that once rewarded excellence now rewards victimhood and representation. Schools teach self esteem instead of discipline. Media pushes emotion instead of truth. This did not happen because women suddenly outperformed men. It happened because social engineers rewrote the rules. Quotas. Diversity mandates. Bureaucratic “equity” policies. All designed to reshape institutions so that competence is secondary to ideological balance. None of this is accidental. Weak societies are easier to control. Nations stripped of confidence are easier to manage. And that is the real project, weaken the nation state so power can shift upward, to a global technocratic class that answers to nobody. A new feudalism. Not kings and peasants. But bureaucrats and subjects. Do you understand? Resist. Just say no.
