@christinevans It would be awesome to have heat lamps at The Alembic! The soul freezing SF winds that crawl over your parklet discourage even the thirstiest (vaccinated! And fearful of proven indoors transmission among even vaccinated) booze hound.

Not everyone has taken well to @alembicsf's policy of showing vaccination cards at the door. The front door staff get berated "daily," a co-owner told me. @SFGate sfgate.com/bars/article/S…

“The Alembic reopened for indoor drinking on June 15, and at that same time, decided to ask drinkers to show proof of vaccination if they wanted to sit inside... If drinkers declined to share proof, the staff would still offer to seat them outside in the bar’s parklet.”
