E' una tendenza a 2 settimane quindi andrà confermata nei prossimi giorni ma ritengo che dopo il 18-20 maggio, quindi nella terza ed ultima decade del mese, potremmo avere una seconda rimonta di aria subtropicale in sede mediterranea. Siete pronti per il ritorno del caldo o preferite questo clima attuale?

La zona di convergenza intertropicale si mantiene poco sotto la media del periodo. Questo significa che almeno fino a fine maggio l'anticiclone subtropicale continuerà a stazionare tra Sahel e Nord Africa senza incursioni degne di nota nel Mediterraneo. E' un indice climatico molto importante per le previsioni durante la stagione estiva e giocò un ruolo chiave nella famosa estate del 2003. Quando la linea è molto piu' a nord del normale spinge l'anticiclone subtropicale verso il Mediterraneo provocando pesanti ondate di caldo anche sulla nostra penisola, esattamente ciò che accadde nel 2003 con un'anomalia che perdurò per quasi tutto il periodo estivo. Per il momento dunque il caldo di origine subtropicale si terrà ancora a debita distanza dal nostro paese.
