@monzo hi there, very surprised with the fact I can't get hold of support either through app or on the phone, unlike any financial provider. It's quite stressful and scary, is there a way to get in touch with you to quickly get help on the international payment?

@andybudd I agreed to a salary reduction once, with the promise to make my team safe. That promise wasn't documented properly, only a part of a set of the emotional messages we all received and believed. After I've signed it, my team was still made redundant. Learning = document promises.

If you find yourself in a situation where your role is up for redundancy and you’re invited to take part in a consultation process (as required by UK law) consider asking whether the leadership team had considered reducing their salaries before announcing redundancies.
