@draevans I’ve been accused of faking my autism by an autistic person according to them I don’t look autistic they also accused me of befriending them to research being autistic so I could use it to boost my career, obviously psychiatrist who diagnosed me is fake too

I just read a thread where someone had a pop at less autistic people for taking support away from “severe” autistic like his brother. I do wonder if some people understand how little services there actually are for all autistic people?

@elliemidds My lawyer friend who helped me when I was bullied & discriminated against at work after diagnosis told me of rise of staff claiming to be ND but when she offered to pay for diagnosis they refused, odd most of us are desperate for this so I get cynicism

@naomilars I feel your pain I got rejected from a job after being told I was THE most qualified and experienced person they’d interview in 4 months of recruiting… maybe it was an issue with my personality 😉 I’m also finding the job app algorithms complete nonsense too lately

saw a tiktok that said “people with adhd don’t fall asleep, they pass out” and this is why it’s so hard to be both adhd and autistic because i don’t have the energy to tire myself out so i will be tired all day but then not be able to sleep at night !!!
