5.6 sol growth is insane. the inference team has done heroic work to be able to support demand. we are going to move mountains to continue to scale, but it is possible there are some hiccups soon.

@jpbuildslab Right now it’s falling back to Grok after GPT fails 2 isolated retries (fresh agent, no previous context). Groks image quality is a lower than I need so some of those images are a little off.

@alex_vance That whole-image vs. surgical-edit split is really useful. Are you choosing the model manually for each edit, or do cues like heel drop, wrist flexion, and rotation route to a model automatically?

Biggest learnings from this so far: 1) GPT is the better image generator for whole images, Grok handles specific edits better (heel drops, wrist flexion, rotation).

I ran Fable for 22 hours straight and still didn’t hit rate limits… even on the $100 plan. I’m at 94% weekly usage, but I was surprised it lasted as long as it did. Using Fable 5 as the orchestrator is the best way to use this model to conserve tokens. Change my mind🔥

3) Human in-the-loop is absolutely still necessary. Despite using 3 separate models, validation failures (not catching defects) still occurred about 23% of the time. An example you'll see here is the frame actually gets taller instead of pivoting.

2) "Change exactly one thing, keep everything else pixel-faithful" fixed ~95% of detail defects in a single shot. Changing too much forces a full redraw.

I worked on building an end-to-end encrypted email/docs/files/calendar app @skiffprivacy for 4 years and care deeply about privacy. ZDR and /privacy are always respected in Grok Build - and swapping your setting with /privacy deletes any synced data retoractively
