Here is my 1k DC through 8 rounds. Usually draft these w/ stronger consideration for league prizes rather than the overall. Closer to the turn = less consideration of ADP for the 2nd of 2 picks.

@ajflax Yeah agree with all of that, but it also seems clear to all parties that a team trading for Crochet would have to extend him? So I’m factoring that in a bit, you’re gonna be paying him a contract comparable to Glasnow (a little less prob since you’re buying out two arb years)

@ajflax And it’s hard to value Crochet IMO given the lack of track record and innings concerns. Both Burnes and Glasnow were moved for less, they had one less year of control, but much longer track records. Top-50 prospects don’t really get moved as much anymore

@ajflax You think that’s true of Bregman? Chapman got 25 AAV (admittedly an extra year, maybe you’d need to go to 6/150 for Bregman)

@ajflax - Bregman (5/125) - trade House and a prospect in the 8-15 range for Crochet, probably extend him (6/120? Hard to gauge the market there) - Jeff Hoffman (2/24) - O’Hearn (1/8) - Scherzer honorary vet leadership/retirement deal (1/5) That’s $70M in AAV, seems reasonable
