Got asked if I recommend “redesigning” popular apps for portfolios It’s tricky. If you want to, I won’t discourage it. You seem proactive / curious. But I’ve also seen many bad takes. 🔑 is don’t assume the designers were idiots. Ask why they made the choices they did first.

@SketchHelp yea longtime sketch fan and even I’m pretty frustrated with this update; updated in the middle of a project and no more access to my library colors or palettes? How do I fix this? Can’t be the only one that thinks this new variable system is unnecessarily complicated

@oberhaeuserinfo @sketch Would be great if they improved typography styling. For example superscripting in sketch is a waking nightmare

@sketch We love sketch, but instead of spending resources on unnecessary updates, can you please focus on the promised features everybody wants. Like animated prototyping, proper text styles, live collaboration and commenting. If none of that appears soon we’ll have to move to Figma.
