This month I took on a new role at Infinite Red: I’m now CEO. My longtime business partner Todd retired after over 10 years working together, and now @GantLaborde and I are charting our own course. Todd has been an amazing business partner and remains a great friend. We will miss having him around every day (he plans to still hang out with us regularly though). He’s never been a public facing figure, but the team always loved working with him. He’s the type of guy who loves to make people laugh, who asks about your day, and treats everyone like family no matter what your title is. In fact, the lower your title, the more he wanted to support you. It seems like my job changes every 10 years or so. I started my first business in 2005, merged it into Todd and Gant’s company in 2015, and now taking over as CEO in 2026. We have some pretty big challenges coming up. The market is pretty soft and we haven’t kept quite as busy as I’d like. We also have our eye on how AI is changing our industry. Gant and I are optimistic, though. The team is in a great place, leadership is very cohesive, and we have a lot of ideas to help Infinite Red navigate the uncertain waters ahead. I’m excited about the future!

Should I be concerned that some colleagues pass my recommendations through an llm “to make sure it’s the way to go”? 🥲😂

After 9 years, I just finished my last week at Expo. Started working on it when I was 19, and it's been the center of my life ever since. Incredibly grateful to the team and community we built along the way!

I want to recommend some AI courses to a technical PM. Any recommendations? Are there solid courses that fall in the middle between pure business and highly technical?

@theisraataha I once interviewed someone (online) that was at a family pool party with very loud music. The guy was shirtless and with kids playing around. 5 minutes in and a kid sat on his lap started playing with the keyboard while the candidate was still trying to write some code. 🫠
