@Tonacracy There’s nothing quite like inner peace. 🙇♂️

@Tonacracy Hi 👋 I have stopped working on Algorand related projects, so once I figure out what to do with Algorand dot dev, I’ll be sunsetting this account 🫡
English

@algoranddotdev Also welcome back. I’ve been wondering where you’ve been. :-)
English

@Tonacracy This is a super concerning commentary on the ecosystem. I almost wish you could give names to avoid… 🥸
English

I'm thinking of selling algorand dot dev, the domain. Is anyone in the #Algorand ecosystem interested in making a bid?
Gotta pay rent somehow :)

@joe_polny @JTinvestsInYou I feel like this UI is mandatory, was same at CSUEB.
English

@JTinvestsInYou Congrats man! Although I lowkey wish you didn't post this because seeing this UI is giving me horrific flash backs to class registration at WIT

Big milestone on the TypeScript compiler that I've been working on. I wrote an ARC12 implementation purely in TypeScript and it has passed all tests! github.com/joe-p/TEALScri…

@Ant_knee01 That’s a logic fallacy. How many people can own Schrute bucks? There are tens of thousands of NFT collections on opensea that are even more limited in supply.
English

one of the main reasons to not be a one chain cult maxi. you'll end up in a bubble very quickly. there are a few very solid and also different projects. always keep an open eye and learn.
blockchain = infrastructure

@a3voices @AlgoFoundation Lol - I dont think u use other chains. Near has a monthly report and Tezos provides a balance sheet. Cosmos puts advertisement and donation spends on its governance votes. Overall Algorand accountability/governance is below the average of the Alt L1s.
English

@foxriverdevops You said it! I use multiple programming languages and platforms all the time, and neither is beyond critique. With crypto, you should never purchase tokens beyond what you need for transactions, takes emotions out of the equation.
English

@BunsanMuchi Having worked at consumer tech startups, I can tell you most of them generate +90% of their revenue on mobile. If you’re a business, mobile is the only platform that matters, whether it’s web or native app.
English

@algoranddotdev I heavily disagree with you on mobile being the only platform that matters. Specially considering how poor the general crypto UX is on mobile. RWA are the future imo, where the device becomes irrelevant to the experience.
Also, how is an open source wallet a walled garden?
English

“All without leaving your wallet” is the greatest betrayal of decentralization I’ve seen lately. Next, Pera should just duplicate functionality of popular Dapps and offer them in a “native experience”. Finally, optimize speed and switch to SQL from Algorand to add polish.

Pera Discover is here! Our team is thrilled to introduce this much-requested feature to the #Algorand community🚀 🌍 Use #dApps and find new ones 📈 Track prices & charts 🔁 Exchange tokens 🚀 All without leaving your wallet Enjoy 💛 #algofam blog.perawallet.app/pera-wallet-5-…
English

@thecryptomie If you refuse to send users back to the Dapps that sent them over to the wallet in the first place, then just take over the users without letting them leave UX-wise, that’s a betrayal.
English

@loedn_ It’s like the frog being boiled, it doesn’t complain until it’s too late…
English

@algoranddotdev Do I personally like walled gardens? Absolutely no, but then... Not many people complain that much about apple either...
English

@loedn_ I see where this goes at the limit. I knew back in May that this is where Pera is going by completely ignoring the request to allow easy exit back to DApp after transaction has been signed, and with every update it’s closer and closer to a total walled garden.
English

@algoranddotdev A smart contract should be built to work forever, frontends come and go, I see this as a cool feature nothing more. I'd love to see the possibility to interact directly with smart contracts from a neutral frontend (etherscan does this on eth)
English

@BunsanMuchi The only platform that matters these days is mobile, and the only major wallet there - Pera is literally becoming a walled garden, and most users won’t care, because they didn’t get into crypto for a decentralized world. They got in to get rich quick. Sad.
English

@algoranddotdev I actually disagree with you on this one. I think it's cool, and a testament to the industry, that you can build frontends for the "same" protocol, without even asking for permission. Not only that, but it can open competition on the UX front. 1/2
