As this relief has been extended to ease your operational burden, transporters across Punjab are urged to act responsibly and refrain from passing the increased costs on to consumers and passengers. I will closely monitor and regulate the situation to ensure that the full benefit of this subsidy is passed on to the public. This is a time for collective responsibility, compassion, and unity in the national interest.

It will be very interesting to see the response of the ICC if Pakistan go to the World Cup but don't play India. I don't know the legal position, or how the precedence could play out, but I won't be surprised if the ICC asks that the broadcaster's loss be deducted from Pakistan's share of ICC revenues.
