@ali_the_coder@SergiiKirianov Well i was mostly talking for beginners, ofc languages have their specialization, but it doesn't have to be blocking that's what i wanted to convey.
But of course if you want to do Web dev don't learn C++, go for a more dynamic language. But for basics all is good !
The worst thing in JavaScript and Python are their fans.
Not the people who admire and love language, but knows that other languages are great too. No.
Those who will defend all the cons of the language trying to find that sacred meaning in the flaws.
@sqaarf@SergiiKirianov I disagree that it has to do with personal preference. Some languages are better at something than others. You gotta pick the right tool for the job. Another aspect is how comfortable you are with the said language.
@SergiiKirianov To be really honest it really depends on personal preferences and not the technology on itself (It becomes important with big projects tho).
All languages are the best and they are all made to do everything, that's why they are called turing-complete.
@SumonMukhopadh3@ANoorTM I mean you said "unless absolutely necessary" people should not use IDEs. That's a generalization about use of IDE not about resources. People often forget that the most expensive resource is the engineer and not the CPU. If using editor slows an engineer then it's a waste.
