Dans le monde actuel, il n’existe aucun État qui applique la peine de mort exclusivement à une population non‑citoyenne ou ethnique, tout en excluant totalement ses propres citoyens. Historiquement, le seul précédent est l’Allemagne nazie, où les lois et tribunaux spéciaux (ex. le Volksgerichtshof ou tribunaux du peuple) étaient utilisés pour condamner les Juifs, opposants politiques, populations occupées à des peines extrêmement sévères, y compris la peine de mort, alors que les citoyens “aryens” étaient épargnés pour ces mêmes actes. Cette nouvelle loi votée par la Knesset ne fait aucune limite d’âge ou même de santé mentale. On peut « légalement » condamner à la pendaison un jeune palestinien de 10 ans jugé coupable de « terrorisme » sans qu’il ait été prouvé qu’il ait participé à aucun acte de terrorisme car c’est un tribunal militaire qui condamne par association. Je n’aurais jamais imaginé vivre cela un jour, dans un silence assourdissant !
