I may be a ‘silly sod’ or a ‘twit’ - both of those are valid. But I also don’t think voters really want people who’ve spent more time at university than in a job, who get dropped in to a constituency, inserted with a party chip and parrot party lines. Glad to have stoked debate.

Britain won’t forget the sacrifices we all made. I didn’t see my kids and grandchildren for months on end. My mother in law died alone after Hancock allowed covid to invade her care home. We didn’t even have a glass of water with the 10 people at the funeral or sing. My kids couldn’t go to my uncle’s funeral. Johnson enjoyed delivering draconian rules on us which he had no intention of following himself. It’s same with #Brexit, Boris delivered for wealthy backers who gamble on the markets to ensure everyone is poor and the country left food insecure, irrelevant and lost. Britain’s Boris Johnson crush was the kiss of death.

Thank you to everyone who braved the wet weather and joined us this morning for our well dressing in St Cleer. It was incredibly special to revive this long-held tradition and to be so warmly welcomed to this wonderful community!

Just a quick reminder that we are hosting St Cleer’s Well Dressing from 10.30am – 11.30am this Friday. The event is open to the general public and will involve the children from St Cleer Primary School. Everyone is welcome and booking is not required. See you there!

Cornwall benefitted from so much funding, it’s certainly a different place from my 1970s school days, and from 1999 when I moved back with my small children. Those organisations and schemes to help Cornwall are winding up now as the funding finishes.

When I worked as a web designer in the early 2000s small businesses got EU grants to pay for computer equipment and websites. I’ve had EU funded help for my business through @outsetcornwall @UP_Cornwall @CultivatorCorn

I moved back to Cornwall in 1999, I remember discussing Objective One Funding with my dad, he was very excited about it. Look around at the university buildings, A30 improvements, high tech businesses, super fast broadband, green spaces and you will see familiar EU funded logos.
