@timecaptales Is this the person to whom I'm speaking ?
English

@Doom_Goy The important context is that there were 3 fields (soccer and field hockey) that were busy with games from 9am - 4pm. People were using the park, but they weren't pay parking at Ambleside.
English

@MarksGonePublic I agree, NDP socialism is beginning to eat itself.
Entering the running out of other people’s moneys phase.
However, you should be completly objective and specify that yesterday was ABYSMAL weather. Gusty, heavy downpour. Important context here.

Today at Ambleside:
📸 An eagle eating lunch.
🚫 No people in sight.
🧾 Fresh tickets on windshields.
💲A new $5.50/hr fee to walk your dog.
West Van locals? Free pass.
Everyone else? Pay to access nature.
This is what park exclusion looks like.

@MarksGonePublic @pnwkate @BlanchetteJen Pay parking is also affecting the North Van players & coaches of teams using the soccer, field hockey, tennis, and baseball facilities for home practices and weekly games. Regional visiting teams are also frustrated. Watch Park Royal start charging like other malls do.
English

@pnwkate @BlanchetteJen Public beaches are starting to feel like private ones accessible only if you live nearby or have no other choice. I’ve worked from home for over 20 years, and getting out for even an hour each day keeps me sane. These walks aren’t optional they’re essential.
English

@richardzussman Teachers across BC still loathe Christy Clark for her policies that underfunded public schools, weakened teacher bargaining rights, and pushed for standardized testing over meaningful learning. Her legacy continues to fuel frustration in the education sector. #45KstrongBCteachers

How will former B.C. Premier Christy Clark do if she runs for the leader of the federal Liberal Party? #bcpoli
English

@V_Canuck @Devin_Heroux Adding - some antibiotics and antidepressants can give false positives for opiates. Covid will also indicate ineligibility. Elite athletes have to be so careful, especially given drug restrictions are continually being updated.
English

@alltooandrea I've heard lots of good things about PEScience - I didn't know they had sample kits, what a great idea!
English

@alisonsmith604 thanks! i ended up getting a sample kit from PEScience because i read lots of people raving about their stuff so if i don’t like it, i’ll get the one you take :)

@TizzyEnt Many Vancouverites visit Bellingham to shop, especially on a holiday. November 11th is Remembrance Day in Canada, a statutory holiday.
English

@AndreaG114 The Canadian and Russian women's Olympic hockey teams wore N95's, though Russia removed theirs in the 3rd period. (Canada won 6-1.) In another game against Russia, the Finnish team also wore masks. Covid test results were pending in both games. 💪🏻👑🏒🥅
English

@JudgeThree Didn’t the US women’s hockey team play some full Olympic Games in them too?
English

@daveyguitr3 I am so terribly sorry for your loss, may their memory forever be a blessing. Please take care of yourself.

@StevenJosephR @historyinmemes This was the best box - it had the sharpener in the back! 😍

In 1903, Crayola introduced the Rubens Artist crayons. These crayons offered a wide range of high-quality, vivid colors, appealing to both professional artists and students. They reflected Crayola's dedication to nurturing artistic creativity, coinciding with a period of increased interest in the arts, particularly in schools. The Rubens crayons, part of Crayola's early innovations, expanded their product offerings alongside the iconic Crayola crayons. These artist-grade crayons contributed to Crayola's legacy of fostering artistic talent and creativity.

@Velvetpage @Pat_from_scarb @jennyleeshee @Sflecce Don't come to B.C. - you'll only get 2 paid prep hrs. 😭

@perfectrose2011 YVR airport has a Read & Return Program where one can return a book (within 6 months) and receive a 50% refund. If other airports do this, it might explain a boarding pass - but a boarding pass from Vancouver feels more significant than chance. 👀

@Leeds_guy @DaveZ_uk This is The Chapel of Rest, in Brompton-by-Sawdon. The building itself is tiny - from what I remember, it's basically a room. @DaveZ_uk has captured a beautiful shot.

@realreporter This sounds awful - you have had quite the year! I hope you are on the mend and something good happens for you soon, Salim. 🙏🏻

@melissacuisine @fklein907 I'm a teacher. One day I wore something a little more tailored/professional than usual and a little kid in my class asked, "Are you going to work after school?" 👀😂
English

@fklein907 My son was halfway through kindergarten when I realized he thought the teachers all live at school 😂😂
English

@heymrsbond Whoa whoa whoa...hold up. Are... are you telling me there are translucent sticky notes?!!

@NicholasFerroni For the white glue that can easily flood an art project: Just a dot, not a lot!
