@SouthwestAir @SouthwestAir I heard that y’all are letting planes fly half empty instead of rebooking stranded passengers. I know first hand of passengers who flew on a half-filled flight from LAS to SFO today, which is the route you’re not letting me rebook until 12/31. What’s going on?!?

@SouthwestAir @SouthwestAir why don’t any of your phone lines work? Just a dial tone when called general and A list number. I can’t rebook through the app or online because I have a companion… how can I get help on my cancelled flight?!?

@ATT Instead of tweeting about parrots, can y’all get your installation team to honor their appointments? Your customer service agents have no clue what’s going on and can’t give us any information. About to cancel our new service and just go back to our previous provider.

@SouthwestAir super disappointed we were celebrating my brothers engagement in Hawaii this week and it has been ruined by cancellations for no reason. we are taking losses for the hotel and other bookings. No one at the airport could help us & been on hold for hours with nothing.

But through my grad school experience, I was expected to teach, take classes, do my thesis/diss, and RA all at the same time.

@DrStephCraig @K_L_Humphreys @AcademicChatter @PsychChatter From my experience, undergraduate RAs volunteer in hopes of a good rec and experience on their CV. For graduate students we are paid to teach and work as an RA because that’s what being a graduate student is. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty commonplace from what I’ve seen.

@HappyHealthSci1 @KatherineSliter This one is a good idea if you can follow rules 🙈 I had them as a child and when I couldn’t get enough sleeping hours or I was having a bad day & just didn’t want to plunge a hard contact out of my eye the next morning it was bad. So I had to change to my soft lenses.

Alrighty, Twitter, tell me your experiences with LASIK! My eye doc has said I'm a good candidate, and I'd love to not be half blind without contacts. Tell me what it has been like for you! And how did you vet your doctor?

@KatherineSliter I JUST got mine on Friday and I’m in love 😊 slept for 4-5 hours then I woke up seeing perfectly! It’s important that you know what’s happening & don’t get anxious - worst stories come from those who panicked during surgery. My friend referred me & several others to her doc!
