@AllisonMorris1 @KarrieboKarrie Safeguarding is not 'collective punishment', it is ackowledging risk. Do all men commit violence? No, but some do, so we put in certain safeguards, such as single sex spaces. We have had enough sacred castes of men, no man should be exempt from basic safeguarding principles.

@KarrieboKarrie The, PPS and courts deal with sex offenders whether they’re trans, a sports coach, a priest or the former leader of the DUP they’re are treated according to the law, however, there are only calls for collective punishment for one of those groups

@nwl88444048 I’m not having a go at you, I enjoy a lot of your legal content, but that wasn’t a case in Dublin it was in Belfast and settled in mediation, nothing to do with Harris, I assume the tweet was deleted in line with the terms of the agreement

@AllisonMorris1 What case at High Court does the Tweet by Phoenix Law referencing you, refer to? We did ask them at the time, but they simply deleted their Tweet without comment.

On the subject of introducing Phoenix Law, which represents Allison Morris in her 5-year-and-no-end-in-sight claim against Eoghan Harris, you might recall their premature-looking Tweet in December 2022, which they deleted shortly after, because the case was not settled, certainly not with Harris and it looked as if Morris or her solicitors were hit with interim costs. NI-based Morris sued Eoghan Harris in the High Court in Dublin. Whilst in N Ireland, solicitors are banned from taking libel claims on a no foal no fee basis, there's no such ban in the 26 counties. We don't know the payment basis on which Phoenix Law are representing Morris against Harris. Phoenix Law have recently represented the three members of the Belfast act Kneecap in their claim, again in the Dublin High Court, against Big Chief Harvey Yesno in Canada.
