@Dimillian I have the same hardware. What model are you using? I get nowhere near the accuracy I need to get things done coding wise.

I'm really hitting insane agentic engineering issues. 1. CPU bound, my M4 Max is 100% maxxed all day. 2. I/O bound, current SSD can't read/write so many parallel things fast enough. 3. Space bound, 1 TB is clearly not enough.

Amorim was trying to coach us to play a different style for the long term. Carrick is not doing anything for the long term, he’s doing what he knows these players are comfortable with for the best possible short term results. It takes barely above room temperature IQ to grasp.

You might think of modifying your entity to add/expose fields, but don’t do that. Why NOT modify entities? Entities are tied to your DB structure, not your API. Entities often have lazy-loaded relationships, which can cause LazyInitializationException. You end up coupling your DB design to frontend needs, which is fragile and messy. What to do instead? Use a DTO (Data Transfer Object): class AccountCustomerDTO { Long accountId; String accountType; Double balance; String customerName; String customerEmail; } Now, your controller also becomes clean and client-friendly. This tracks completely with what I've experienced using AI as a pair programmer. As soon as I'm tempted to let it drive, I learn nothing, retain nothing. But if I do the programming, and it does the API look-ups, explains the concepts, I learn a lot.
