Basic human decency predates Christianity by thousands of years. Humans had empathy, reciprocity, taboos on murder and care for each other long before the church turned up and tried to claim copyright over morality.

1. Murder is unjustified killing. Unless you want to say things like lions killing of the offspring of previous males is justified, there are species who regularly practice murder. 2. I have a degree in marine biology, so I have learned about the mating behaviors of MANY species. Rape, commonly referred to as forced copulation, as the primary means of reproduction in a species is not even rare. Furthermore, even more species, such as elephant seals, will automatically resort to forced copulation if the female is not receptive, this often involves pinning the female and even biting her until she submits.

Furthermore, if it’s not universal then it can obviously change because evolution proposes a universal common ancestor and an other common ancestors in a tree of life. That means that even in humans that is subject to change.

What he said is accurate, because under your definition evolutionary fitness is the standard. Not only has this played out with rape and murder causing a greater proportion of an individual’s genetic information to be in the gene pool, but whole species practice rape and murder on the regular.
