Canada has higher taxes than any US state, lower income than any US state, and higher cost of living than any US state.

He was only considered a nightmare by the Telegraph, that’s merely a ‘posh’ Fox News and supported by the right, and others like Liz Truss who herself was a complete failure.
Otherwise he was widely supported and respected but interesting that some of the criticism directed at him was because he was against withdrawing from the EU and they felt as Bank Governor he should have stayed silent.
And of course he was proven right and the UK is now trying to renegotiate some form of entry.

Carney is popular here and while he might not be a ‘man for all seasons’ he’s what Canada needs right now to deal with the volatile world, the upcoming CUSMA negotiations and specifically the threats coming from the updated National Security Strategy released by the US Administration in November.
It’s also known as Trump’s Corollary and I’m guessing you have no idea what that is which would merely reinforce you have absolutely no idea about Canada and what we need.
