@AlboMP Could we not increase the access to these types of programs within the prison system? What programs are we currently running in the prison system for men who are incarcerated for violent acts towards women? Could we not do more?

@AlboMP It would be good to include some policy or funding for reducing men’s violence, also, maybe could increase the access to victims services counselling? Also, the counseling support could get re-raised to Covid levels? It was great when we had access to more counselling.

I want women to know if they need to leave, they can afford to go. Yesterday we took significant steps to help women escaping violent partners. With up to $5000 of financial support as part of our Leaving Violence Program.

@AlboMP Also, would be great to see some initiatives for educating and teaching violence prone men how to respond better, to learn emotional intelligence and respect. Also would be great to see harsher penalties for sexual violence and gendered violence :(
