For my thesis in my third Master’s degree, my topic was on the validation of method for MELTONIN using HPLC-MS. Pharm students on my TL ….BGS @Omolola_pt etal… what can you tell me about Melatonin? (Without consulting textbooks oooo). How often do you recommend its consumption for your patients? I’ll tell you my observation afterwards. @Omolola_pt @powerfulbadeeu Yess pineal gland produces it in response to darkness. RAS is like a regulation to its secretion. RAS is high in activity with light/awake mood, so melatonin secretion suppressed during the day.🙇🏽‍♂️

There’s a reason profs in vet don’t use Dr. Even when Dr. is used for non prof with PhD, it refers to their PhD. Academia follows a hierarchy, so there is no need to include Dr for her. PhD/Prof>> DVM.

Even if you are a professional doctor, PhD and professorship supersede the MBBS, DVM etc., in this case. There are profs in the faculty of vet, and none writes Dr. before their names after professorial appointment.
