So, I downloaded OpenSCAD, took exact measurements, and made a replacement part that fit better than the original 😅. Sent the STL file to a 3D printing company and had it fixed in 2 days 👍

I broke the glass lampshade of my ceiling fan and couldn’t find a replacement since companies use proprietary sizes. They wanted me to buy a whole new fan instead of just the broken part.

Shoutout to @openscad and also @yacineMTB for introducing me to it. This incredible piece of software helped me solve a really expensive problem on my own :)
