We’re excited to announce our first in a series of world-class Agentic AI startup partnerships: @browser_use Browser Use was developed by two ETH master students at @ETHSPH. The first version was released after just four days of development, and it has since become one of the fastest-growing GitHub projects, approaching 69'000 stars. Founded less than a year ago, Browser Use has already raised millions from top Silicon Valley VCs and established itself as the leading open-source solution for developing and deploying browser agents. Together, we’re aiming to strengthen the Agent ecosystem in Zurich and beyond: ✨ Supporting ETH students who want to build browser agents as part of their coursework, in collaboration with Browser Use (semester projects, bachelor’s & master’s theses). ✨ Offering participants direct mentorship from the Browser Use team and the ETH Agentic Systems Lab. Huge thanks to @mamagnus00 , @gregpr07 , @larsencc, @mertunsal2020 and the Browser Use team for inspiring and supporting the next generation of AI talent at ETH Zurich and beyond. 🙌 Stories like this show students what’s possible: by building fast, shipping fast, and aiming big, transformative products can emerge in the time it takes to write a master’s thesis. We’re here to help students unlock that potential. More partnerships with agentic AI startups will be announced in the coming days. 👉 Students: Applications for our Genesis Batch are open now. Bring your own idea, or join forces with Browser Use and our other startup partners. 👉 Companies: If you’re interested in collaborating with the Agentic Systems Lab, now’s the perfect time — momentum is building fast, and we’re just getting started.

Let's build Agents! 🚀 Student applications are now open. We’ve officially launched the Agentic Systems Lab — a new @ETH lab focused on designing, developing, and evaluating agentic systems. We’re now assembling a founding student team (the Genesis Batch) and opening applications for students to join us in building real-world agentic AI applications. This is your chance to get involved from the ground up with hands-on guidance. 👉 Bring your own AI project, join one of ours, or collaborate with our project partners (including @browser_use, @nunudotai, @CreateWithBloom , and more). You can participate as part of a semester project, bachelor’s thesis, or master’s thesis. Applications for the Genesis Batch are open now, with reviews starting in September 2025. We care more about what you’ve built than where or what you’ve studied. Show us your projects, your code, and examples of how you’ve turned AI concepts into working software. 👉 Application link in the comments 👇
