I'm going to step back from sports betting for a while and focus on shipping and building @alphametrico. For years I used these models just for myself. Sharing alphλ with others feels great, and sports is the rare edge where sharing doesn't cost you anything: there's always someone on the other side of the bet, so it never touches my liquidity. I need that liquidity. Our users need it too. There are even a few people with solid PnLs who call the models stupid and say I've just been lucky. I'm fine with that. I'd rather have skeptics on the other side than move the market myself, which was never the goal. Closed the World Cup at 37k all-time PnL on @Polymarket. I'd set my sights on 50k.
