Three days ago, we brought a group of 20 Hollywood creators to The Lundquist Institute at Harbor–UCLA Medical Center to visit the Intervene Immune labs Thank you, Greg Fahy, @prof_horvath , @SciEntExchange , Rick Loverd, and Bobby Brooke for helping us make this possible.

This past week, ALSAE hosted a private, behind-the-scenes experience at the @BuckInstitute, bringing 13 creators from Los Angeles across film, TV, and interactive gaming into direct contact with cutting-edge longevity science. Thank you, Buck and @SciEntExchange!

Recently, I learned about the Alliance for Longevity Science, Arts & Entertainment (ALSAE), a new initiative aimed at bridging the gap between scientific advancements in aging research and public perception through collaborations with the arts and entertainment industries. It was founded by Maria Entraigues and her husband Gary, longstanding advocates in the longevity field who helped promote many other longevity initiatives. Now, they have their own. Progress in aging science is advancing efforts to prevent age-related diseases, yet public awareness is often limited or shaped by incomplete narratives. ALSAE facilitates direct engagement between researchers and creative professionals—such as filmmakers, musicians, actors, and artists—by granting access to laboratories and insights into current developments. This supports the creation of informed content that can educate wider audiences. ALSAE's End-of-Year Campaign is currently active, with a $100,000 challenge match that doubles every donation made before December 31st. Contributions to the campaign would help: Build connections between Hollywood and scientific communities Involve the recording industry in discussions on longevity Promote collaborations across science and the arts Encourage balanced cultural perspectives on aging and health Their goal is to secure the remaining $68,000 to maximize the matching funds.
