Maturing is realising CT is the way it is because humans are naturally greedy and self-interested, especially in an environment with zero guardrails. The tools built in crypto didn’t create that behaviour they just made it easier, faster, and more accessible. Lower barriers to entry also meant more degenerates could flood the ecosystem, because every new participant meant more volume and more fees for someone else. The early crypto adopters who pushed “better” or more enduring narratives were often playing the same game too. There were just fewer of them, and they were smarter about the way they sold the dream. Many made millions, cashed out, and disappeared into the sunset. At the end of the day, this is a market. You’re either here to make money or lose it to someone on the other side of the trade.
