@K8T1144 I'm guessing this was the policy from before the law was clarified. M&S were getting massive pressure instore from transvestites, so they introduced this policy & hoped women wouldn't notice & would 'be kind'. Now the law is 100% clear they have been caught with their pants down.

The current M&S debate is fascinating. Lots of men coming out of the woodwork to tell us that we’re fine in lockable cubicles. Yet when you ask them if they say this to transwomen about men’s cubicles, you get crickets. Because the pressure on our boundaries only goes in one direction. Them trying to gain entry and us trying to say no.

🚨M&S manager in Colchester boots woman out for asking where the women’s changing room is. Claims gender neutral areas are “completely safe” for women and girls then tells her to leave. Woke corporations erasing single-sex spaces and women’s comfort. Total madness.

They're on different floors so different lighting intensity, different ceilings. They were taken about a minute apart, the time it took me to ride the escalator from the mixed to the men's.

Giving the impression that they changing rooms are next to each other. Not from that store. The Men's pic may be old one. Women regularly go into Men's to judge their male partner.

Regarding Tom Steyer's position on trans athletes: I think he's right on the merits. ELITE sports need to be sex segregated. But people make up reasons to claim that competitive fairness of youth sports is super-important and it isn't. Plus, there's enforcement problems.

The law, as clarified, simply requires that IF they are segregated that they are segregated by biological sex. He is right that if you dislike the service on offer you can take that up with M&S.

Colchester @marksandspencer I asked where the women’s changing room was to try on swimwear. Manager Andrew (he/ his /him) says gender neutral changing areas are “completely safe” for women and girls. For asking him this question, he told me to leave the store. @SexMattersOrg
