Incase you didn’t know, there are only two sexes - male and female. I don’t care what you say. Sex is determined at birth. You’ll never change my mind. Another sad day for Australia. #auspol

Two wrongs don’t make a right. Previously everyone at least had the option of putting their savings into investment vehicles and getting ahead that way, now we have the worst of both worlds where taxes are rising on everything for no concievable benefit and everyone is equally miserable

Professionals with no family wealth to buy assets are paying very close to 50% marginal tax rates on their work. So spare me please.

Hi, the current laws won’t let me kick out the tenants and jack up rents, please advise me how I can illegally get around this. Burn the landlords to the ground.

Seems like a lot of soy boys voted for ‘ethics’ when they elected this government didn’t consider that ethics doesn’t exist. Got locked out of the housing market and fell for the generational inequality trick. You just added ten more years to your 9-5 on your ‘ethics’ vote. #auspol

@Desdemo94719051 @shoootingfish @rhysdiab Now with those taxes, you can't get back as much, and cannot go on big cuirses, buy lambo.. its just straight to old age pension for you... There's no incentive to invest for your own future.

@alterego1168 @shoootingfish @rhysdiab Unfortunately this government is encouraging the grifter attitude. I could be financially irresponsible, sell my assets, go on a big cruise, buy a Lambo and pull an old age pension. But I choose not to because I believe welfare should be for the people who need it most.

@ausstockchick "Modelling" says rents will increase by $2 and property prices will reduce by 2%. How do either of these scenarios help you people looking for a property to buy and live in? Make it make sense.

What fascinates me is reading the comments from the left who are celebrating the budget. Someone just re-tweeted my tweet and said Australia is taking back the working class. Honey, Australia just cemented you further into the working class than you have ever been before and it’s astounding some people can’t see that. People who built wealth via the old system are in complete shock. #auspol

@endozduopoly @some0nethere Government has spent more on Welfare than on property investors. On a NET basis, Property investors pay more tax than even the multinational companies.

@some0nethere Rentals aren't entirely bad, but you have to ask why government is constantly bailing the market out, given that apparently adds so much "value" to society.

The truth is that property investors do not contribute any value to the economy collectively. If they did, government would not have to constantly inject stimulus into the market and provide subsidies. The housing market "welfare" system needs to end. Its an utter parasite.

BREAKING: Our responsible approach in today’s Budget means we’ve improved the bottom line by $45b. Labor’s responsible economic management means that debt is lower, deficits are smaller and the Budget bottom line is stronger in every year. We’re getting the Budget in better nick because that helps to fund the things that Australians need and deserve like Medicare, aged care and cost-of-living relief.

@DrCameronMurray OO can go build their own homes, there is no need for landlords to sell if they dont want to. Forcing them via policy will make Australia poorer. No countries have ever achived a good outcome with declining property prices.

Everyone who wants higher homeownership but doesn't want landlords to sell is revealing how unserious they are. There is no mathematical way to increase homeownership rates without more landlords selling. fresheconomicthinking.com/p/landlords-se…

Tonight might just go down in history as the day Australia as we knew it ended. Getting ahead in Australia is about to become twice as hard. Taking risks, investing, building wealth, the things that used to be encouraged are starting to look like they with come with a penalty. All to keep the gravy train going while disguised as helping young people. Disgraceful. #ausbiz #auspol
