In spring 2023, Norway opened the world's longest walking/cycling tunnel (1.8 miles) costing ~£23M. Here in 2026, the Govt intends to waste ~£7.5M infilling 6% of Queensbury Tnl (1.4 miles) and allow the rest to collapse. It's difficult to imagine a starker contrast in culture.

The UK Treasury has screwed Wales again! They have now classed a railway line running for Oxford to Cambridge as an "England and WALES" project. This robs Wales over £300m+ whereas Scotland and NI get their cash. It's a disgrace that this is still happening after the HS2 robbery. Hat tip to @LibDemDavid for discovering this.

Sunday morning cycle to the shops on Swindon’s disused railway line. It was blissful. I’ve had my @bobbinbicycles for 7 years now and whilst I’ve had to replace quite a few parts, she’s still going strong (ignore the rusty handlebars).

@cllrrobwhite Same at the 3 Tuns. Before they went "Smart", cyclists used to get a fair turn at the lights

Raised that the traffic lights at St Mary's Butts/Bridge Street don't detect cyclists properly. Greens will keep standing up for cyclists (so they can sit down and peddle)!
