Golden Age Arc in Berserk. It was like 11 VOLUMES long
To this date, this arc is still the best experience I ever had reading an ARC in manga. The SLOW buildup of knowing it's in a flashback and something terrible is bout to happen and then it happened and it was freakin BRUTAL

@CaciqueJean_ @Sonkokun875 @Angglio Modulo already have the BUILT IN worldbuilding of JJK. Why it was better is because Modulo expanded on it and tackled stuffs that aren't talk bout in JJK like knowledge of Curse Energy, the monopoly of Japan on it, then even the conclusion of REMOVING it

It’s not better world building because they travel to more places.
EVERY character is used to move the plot if they weren’t they wouldn’t be a character.
More plot points and revelations don’t mean the story is better.

While we're at it Strong Female characters ≠ Well written Dark tones ≠ depth Suffering ≠ complex, it's useless if it does not amount to a character's growth or change Symbolism ≠ Good, it only works if it provides clarity to an already existing theme

Modulo despite having shittier ending than JJK is at least better with world building
JJK worldbuilding is not great but due to having GREAT power system it gets upgraded to good
