I used to work at a petrol station in my early 20’s. Worked there for years and moved to night shifts eventually. I’d constantly say how i felt unsafe most nights and even when we locked doors we had to unlock and let them in, even when i was a lone woman on the floor and my colleague would be out back or something. I hated it and had some creepy men come in and genuinely was terrified to eventually leave even though it would be light when i finished. Anyway, i left the nights and moved stores for day shifts and one night one of the young lads I used to work wirh got scissors/ a knife pulled out some one he had to let in. They then decided to close at night for years. If that happened to me I would’ve been long gone.
