Mr @HermanMashaba
It is deeply concerning to observe the persistent pattern of personal attacks directed at Ms @helenzille. As a public leader, your words carry weight, and repeated personal remarks do not strengthen your political credibility nor the image of your party. Instead, they risk portraying a leadership style that prioritises personal grievances over constructive engagement and policy-driven discourse.
It is important to reflect on the past with honesty and integrity. Helen Zille played a significant role in your political journey, offering support, political space, and leadership backing during your tenure as Executive Mayor of Johannesburg. That history cannot simply be erased when it becomes convenient. Political differences are expected and even healthy in a democracy, but they should not descend into personal antagonism.
South Africans deserve leaders who rise above personal disputes and demonstrate maturity, respect, and focus on the issues that matter most to citizensservice delivery, economic growth, and good governance. Continual personal attacks undermine these priorities and distract from the real work that needs to be done.
You have an opportunity to lead with dignity and to elevate political discourse in South Africa. That begins with moving away from personal criticism and engaging in principled, issue-based debate.

When the BBC interviews someone as well-informed
and intelligent as Douglas Murray, they should find someone well-informed and intelligent to do it
Not some clown like this
He is very stupid
But perhaps the BBC hadn't noticed
Kosher@koshercockney
This is a must listen and a must share. Seriously. The BBC at its very worst. And this isn’t even @DouglasKMurray at his very best, yet he’s utterly brilliant.

Until recently, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar and her daughter were green card holders living lavishly in the United States.
Afshar is the niece of deceased Iranian Major General Qasem Soleimani. She is also an outspoken supporter of the Iranian regime who celebrated attacks on Americans and referred to our country as the "Great Satan."
This week, I terminated both Afshar and her daughter's legal status and they are now in ICE custody, pending removal from the United States.
The Trump Administration will not allow our country to become a home for foreign nationals who support anti-American terrorist regimes.

🚨 Douglas Murray DESTROYS BBC Newsnight Presenter
Douglas Murray calmly dismantles the BBC on his “less Islam” comment:
Nick Watt: “We should have less Islam in this country. Was that a wise phrase?”
Murray: “Perfectly wise phrase… This country had a wildly stupid and lax immigration policy for decades.”
On the bomber Salman Abedi: “One of the sons they gave this country was Salman Abedi who at 22 killed 22 young girls… one for every year of life this country gave him.”
Then the key logic: “Jihadist extremism, jihadism comes from Islam. Therefore, if it’s 1%, 5%, 15% of people of the Muslim faith who follow that version of it, you’ve got a hell of a problem.
And the more people, this is simple math, the larger the number of people who are followers of a faith that has not solved the extremism problem in its midst… the more extremism you will have.
You don’t get that from the Catholic Church… or the Anglican church.”
Murray closes powerfully: “Nobody else is as incredibly slow in learning as the British media and political class when it comes to this problem.
Why is it the case that Saturday after Saturday we have thousands of people going through major British cities who support the death cults who would murder Jews and the rest of us next?
That’s a question you and Newsnight should answer.”
Countries with less Islam have less Islamic terrorism. Straight talk the BBC clearly struggles with.

Hello Mayor Morero @CityofJoburgZA and @MyJRA - this hole is still opened near Colony Centre. A car literally flew into it. Thank God the driver wasn’t hurt and the car’s removed but the hole is still there. @helenzille in case you need another dip.

This is brilliant! It is the most graphic depiction of the incompetence of the ANC in Johannesburg and Gauteng. Their leadership should hang their heads in shame. Any sensible citizen would vote for Helen in the coming election for Johannesburg Mayor.

The City has finally acted on a 3.5-year-old water leak following a swim visit by Helen Zille, but residents are asking: if the resources were always available, why were they left to endure years of disruption?

@KhulaniQoma You’re right, IRCG slaughters its own people at a much faster and larger rate than the countries you’ve mentioned.
Hypocrite indeed.
