Delighted to meet with @Girlguiding today in Parliament to mark International Day of the Girl and hear about the inspiring work the Guides are doing to promote girls' empowerment.

As a Queen’s Guide myself, it was a pleasure to meet with Guides @Girlguiding in Parliament as they mark the upcoming International Day of the Girl #IDG2024

I have had the pleasure of visiting a number of parliamentary drop-ins this week! These sessions provide the opportunity to learn about the work of some fantastic organisations such as @Girlguiding & @CAMRA_Official and it's a real privilege to hear from them.

It was fantastic to see @Girlguiding visiting parliament today. I was a Guide from Brownies through to Rangers & had the privilege of being a Queens Guide. I learnt numerous life skills, had some incredible experiences and it was a pleasure to hear how much the girls visiting enjoy the experience of guiding. I'd encourage all young people to sign up!

Today, I had the pleasure of meeting with @Girlguiding to celebrate #InternationalDayoftheGirl It is vital that girls get the support they need to realise their potential, whether that be on a football pitch, the boardroom, or in Westminster.

Through friendship, fun & adventure they empower 000s of girls from ages 4 to 18 to discover the best in themselves and to make a positive difference in their community.
