@elonmusk @forestservice cut 1500 probationary employees. The new blood, skilled for technology, supporters of efficiency. Nothing to do w performance. The amount of time agencies spent trying to get those jobs filled, $$$ wasted. How is this in alignment with @DOGE principles?

@elonmusk When hired as a civil servant, must work 3 yrs as career conditional to obtain career tenure. 1st of 3 is probationary, so if anything isn’t working out, you are not classified with the same protections under congressional law.

Amazing to consider that in past 12 hours the U.S. West has seen devastating (record) flooding in Montana near Yellowstone, extreme wildfire activity in Arizona that visually resembles an erupting volcano amid (record) drought, & post-wildfire debris flows in northern California.
