@ambrlo @DottieMcChoppy @EleanoraStats A cis woman without ovaries is still documented with her actual anatomy and history, so care is adjusted accordingly. The issue is when a marker is treated as the only signal. Medicine relies on organ inventory, hormones, and sex based ranges, not just a label.

@miztakesno @Seanchuckle One significant point here is that they are all females. Miz. Critical thinking is clearly not for you.

@ambrlo @ftmongeese Who's "we"? You have voices in your head? That was never what I was talking about so you bringing it up now is irrelevant. I've made my point. My logic is sound.

@Right7jnkgthccf @DottieMcChoppy @EleanoraStats And why does any of that matter if it ceases to be true because of the changes caused by medical transition? You can harp on chromosomes as much as you like, you haven't proven their value above any other aspect of sex.

@ambrlo @DottieMcChoppy @EleanoraStats The issue is when a changed marker is the only info clinicians see. Care decisions often depend on things like organ inventory, hormone status, and medical history. If those aren’t clear, it can affect things like screenings, lab interpretation, or risk assessment.

@ambrlo @DottieMcChoppy @EleanoraStats You’re jumping a step there. Hormones are influential, but they act as regulators on systems that were already developed in a certain way. If they alone defined sex, then changing hormone levels would fully rewrite every aspect of the body, which they don’t.

@EggythingBagel @AriDrennen She didn't compete against a "biological man". It is absolutely relevant to whether or not trans women have an unfair advantage. Who cares? They haven't made coming in 5th their gift, so it's a moot point.

@ambrlo @AriDrennen 1. You just use the “5th place” thing to avoid having to refute that biological men shouldn’t be competing against women. 2. People take shots at her for coming in 5th, which at the collegiate level is impressive, and way more impressive than anything they’ve accomplished.

@ambrlo @vastmightyfree @randomclovis @SexMattersOrg Google. I'm bored of your disingenuous bullshit. You have the entirety of the world's knowledge at your fingertips and you're too fucking lazy to search for UK social attitudes polling or stats on male violence toward woman and girls. No wonder we're in this mess.

M&S seems set on gaslighting women. We’ve written to senior leadership to warn that advertising male and female changing rooms but operating them as mixed-sex facilities could amount to indirect discrimination and harassment against women.

@NSANiTYx @ftmongeese We're talking about a political campaign to curtail medical access for a minority group. You may not care for clarity in such a discussion, but other people clearly do.

@ambrlo @ftmongeese What are you even on about? We're not talking about research here. I'm simply saying that in general conversation if someone were to socially transition then later reverse that process, that person has detransitioned. Logically it fits. That's it.

@NSANiTYx @ftmongeese The idea of regulating social transition is insane. That's why the freaks always focus on medical transition and why it's therefor crucial to distinguish between desisters and detransitioners.

@ambrlo @ftmongeese Not talking about medical transition here. Just the fact that if you can socially transition, when you reverse that, it would be a detransition. And how the term logically fits there. Then trying to figure out what goose here meant when they said "journey".

I do believe there is room to draw parallels between slavery and wage earning, although they diffuse completely when it comes to the specific nuance of wage earning, since monetary wages are inherently capital which the wage earner earned thus owning. I make this distinction as: practical capitalism and legal capitalism. Just because someone has the legal right to capital doesn't mean they have the practical benefit of it. The opposite is also true, just because someone doesn't have a legal right to capital doesn't mean they don't have a practical interaction with it that might benefit them. My definition of a slave is someone that has no legal right to anything, but anything they would own is or becomes the property of their owner. This does not mean they don't have a practical right to ownership in the moment such as the bread they eat, or sickle they use. Oe even in the long term such as the wife or husband he or she is married to. In the case of our modern day we might say that someone is a wage slave, but ilI personally believe thst it is due to inflation that has devalued currency as capital, which means that we are in effect becoming slaves slowly.

Why does society act like every transgender person gets mad at strangers misgendering them.. I'm trans and know a lotttt of trans people, not one has gotten mad at a stranger for this. One video of a trans person screaming "it's ma'am!" And they think we're all pressed 😭😭
